About Ava

Ava is a Counselor who received her B.A. in Psychology from Iowa State University and then went on to get her M.S. in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University. Ava enjoys working with Asian American populations, college students and adults on a variety of issues, including anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationship/marital concerns, and multicultural concerns. She uses a mix of treatment modalities including Person-Centered Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Above all, Ava loves when she can help people see themselves the way that God sees them and rest in the truth of His word.

In her free time, Ava enjoys making art, playing music, drinking bubble tea, and spending time with friends and family.
